Minister of Health Reviews Medical Services at Arafat Field Hospital
Minister of Health Fahad AlJalajel visited the field hospital for medical services at Arafat, where he was received by several officials.
During the visit, the minister inspected the hospital’s facilities, departments, and the services provided to pilgrims during the 1446H Hajj season. He also received a briefing on the healthcare centers affiliated with the medical services operating during the season, along with the specialized and emergency medical services they offer to ensure the safety and comfort of pilgrims.
The field hospital is one of the most prominent medical service projects for this year’s Hajj season, with a capacity of 100 beds. It is fully equipped, including 20 beds designated for heat exhaustion cases, a fully equipped operating room, an isolation room, a mobile medical unit with five field clinics, a medical laboratory, a pharmacy, and mobile radiology units.
These efforts demonstrate a high level of preparedness to provide immediate and on-site healthcare for the pilgrims.
