GCC Secretary-General Meets with Colombian Foreign Minister at UN

Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Secretary-General Jasem Albudaiwi met yesterday with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Colombia Rosa Yolanda Villavicencio on the sidelines of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
 The meeting focused on advancing existing cooperation between the GCC and Colombia toward broader horizons that support shared interests and aspirations.
 The two officials also exchanged views on cooperation between the GCC and the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States, which is currently chaired by Colombia.
 Albudaiwi affirmed that the GCC states consistently strive to strengthen relations with other countries and organizations to achieve common benefits and interests for all peoples.
