
NWC Completes Extensive Sewer Lines Project in Riyadh
The National Water Company (NWC) announced in a press release the completion of various sewerage lines in Riyadh at a total cost exceeding SAR11 million. This is part of the company’s strategic plans to develop water and wastewater infrastructure and expand customer service offerings.
The project involved the construction of separate sewerage lines in several districts in Riyadh with a total length of over 14 kilometers to serve more than 9,000 beneficiaries. NWC stated that the project aims to eliminate environmental damage, enhance service quality, and promote environmental sustainability in line with Saudi Vision 2030.
According to the release, completed sewer lines serve customers in 18 districts, namely Al-Marwa, Tuwaiq, Al-Marqab, Al-Hada, Al-Maathir Al-Shamali, Umm Al-Hammam Al-Gharbi, Erqa, Diriyah, Al-Malqa, Salah Al-Din, King Salman, Al-Taawun, Al-Munsiyah, King Faisal, Al-Nahda, Al-Rayyan, Al-Nadwa, and Al-Nazim.
NWC highlighted the project's alignment with its strategic plans and schedules, stressing its commitment to the highest quality standards in project implementation to achieve the desired goal of improving services within this vital sector.
